When I was living in New Zealand, I had the pleasure of photographing Aaron & Charlies elopement at Makara Beach in Wellington. I had never heard of Makara Beach before, but it is absolutely mindblowingly beautiful. A must visit when you are in the Wellington area and you want to go for a walk.

But, let’s talk about Charlie & Aaron’s elopement! Boy was it something. They decided to say their vows on the beach at sunset and then we did a little hike in the surrounding hills. It was a clear day and we could actually see the South Island! Pretty epic if you ask me.

All in all, it was a beautiful day and one I will not easily forget. Thank you Charlie & Aaron for letting me capture your special day. It was fun!
